Named after the Golden Ratio, 1.61 is a unisex and utilitarian clothing line developed by Kimberly Wesson and Aimee Cho. The collection is focused on proportion and fit to achieve a timeless look that appears effortless and understated.
STEPHEN KENNY runs A Two Pipe Problem Letterpress in Leyton, East London. Established in 2007, A Two Pipe Problem designs and prints everything by hand using moveable wood and metal type.
BRIT KLEINMAN is the founder of New York-based design studio, AVO, which specializes in hand-dyed cowhide rugs, pillows, furnishings and wall coverings. Originally from Los Angeles, Kleinman comes from an artistic family: "My mom is a textile artist, my sisters are artists, it was just part of my upbringing."
BEN ERICKSON - furniture designer and founder of Erickson Aesthetics - has always been outdoorsy. "I grew up going to the woods, going to the country," says Erickson. "As a teenager, my friends and I would just out to the Delaware Water Gap and go hiking or rock climbing."

For Fall/Winter 2016, we’re introducing two new mountain-inspired collaborations. The first collaboration is in partnership with Burton Snowboards - a company that has served a pivotal role in growing snowboarding from a backyard hobby to a word-class sport by creating groundbreaking products, supporting the world’s best riders and pushing more resorts to allow snowboarding. In addition, we also partnered with Danny Davis, Burton and Mountain Dew-sponsored professional snowboarder, Olympian and visionary of style.
We’ve joined forces with Boston-based New Balance for the Danner x New Balance “American Pioneer Project,” which includes the New Balance MiUSA 585 and Danner Light Pioneer boot. The collection is a celebration of two authentic American brands, on opposing coasts, creating two premium, domestically manufactured models that represent the spirit of American craftsmanship, heritage and quality.

The Danner Light Sherman is our most recent collaboration with our long-time friends, Tanner Goods. Combining unmatched comfort and Oregon craftsmanship, the Sherman boot is our most versatile boot to date, and fits exquisitely well with any lifestyle, in any environment, day in and day out.
For the last 30 years, our Mountain Light boot has been believed by many to be the greatest backpacking boot of all time. As a trip to Iceland loomed for the first issue of Uncrate Quarterly, our friends at Uncrate teamed up with us to design a pair they’d want to wear all winter long, no matter where their travels took them.
The women's Mountain Light Cascade is featured in the Fox Searchlight Pictures release, WILD, based on the New York Times best-selling book by Cheryl Strayed. The film, which follows Strayed's journey on the Pacific Crest Trail, will be released in select theaters on December 5, 2014.
To introduce this season's Stumptown Collection, we head back outside with See See Motorcycles, catching misty mountaintop views from the PCT and defying gravity over the dusty Oregon dunes. With a retrofit two- wheel drive Rokon in tow, we easily made it Miles from Nowhere.

We’ve teamed up with our friends from wings+horns to develop a limited edition version of our iconic Mountain light. Vancouver, BC based wings+horns is a brand that has been combining classic designs with innovative fabrics since 2004. They share our same love for the Pacific Northwest and quality manufacturing.
