There are few better ways to forge relationships than to share the experience of adventure. Whether it’s hiking through the mountains, driving cross country or riding up the Pacific coast on a motorcycle, seeking the unknown is what pushes us forward. This ideal sparked our first collaboration with Ventura-based Iron & Resin. Our shared commitment to quality has long been admired by those searching for authentic outdoor thrills.
“For years, people having been wearing Danner boots while riding motorcycles,” says Will Pennartz, Senior Marketing Manager for Danner. “The concept behind the collaboration was to create a versatile, USA-made collection, inspired by the types of conditions you can encounter while riding or exploring the West Coast this time of year.”
Included in the collaboration is the Danner x Iron & Resin Tramline boot, which features a suede leather upper, a waxed canvas collar and our classic stitchdown construction. Made in our Portland, Ore. factory, the boot’s Vibram® Cristy outsole and soft leather lining make it perfect for those seeking the unknown.
The collection also includes the Gaviota Jacket and the Rivermouth Cap, both of which are made in California. The Gaviota Jacket is a 10 oz waxed canvas cotton and features both zip and button closures with a hood visor and elbow patches. The Rivermouth Cap, made of the same waxed canvas as the coat, is a 5 panel hat with an adjustable back and a boot lace visor trim.
"We’ve long been fans of Danner boots and have been using them on our own adventures for years," says Thom Hill, Co-Founder of Iron & Resin. “Designing this collection with Danner was an opportunity to build the ideal boot we would use both on and off a bike, scrambling around our local mountains and frequenting our favorite watering holes."
Crafted with the absolute highest standards, this limited-edition collection begs to be taken on outdoor adventures and will look even better after years of use.
