For our Spring ‘15 Stumptown launch we gathered five of our favorite Northwest photographers and sent them on a road trip to Central Oregon, all shooting the experience from their perspectives.
“While we were in the Badlands, I sprained my ankle about two miles into a 10-mile hike. It was super lame, and the act that gained the injury was about as un-tough as it gets. We laughed and I toughed it out best as I could, but on the way back I was slowing down considerably. As everyone faded into the distance ahead, a friend hung back with me and we slowly crept back to the cars. He’s great company and coupled with the awesome isolation of the Badlands, it turned a bummer into one of my favorite parts. ”
JORDAN HUFNAGEL grew up chasing snakes, searching for fossils, and riding dirt bikes in Indianapolis, Indiana with his adventure-loving parents. His mom documented it all and made incredible photo albums, while his dad passed along his rowdy spirit. Jordan now spends his time working in his metal fabrication shop and making memories with his own family, hoping to rub off on them in the same way his folks did.
